In its role as a NCWD/A partner, the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) tracks state legislation related to workforce development for people with disabilities. The purpose of this effort is to assist workforce boards, One-Stops, local, state, and federal partners, policymakers, and disability advocates in identifying legislative developments. In addition to the work on workforce development related legislation, NCSL monitors the implementation of the U.S. Supreme Court's Olmstead decision, encouraging states to reevaluate how they deliver publicly-funded long-term care services to people with disabilities.
